Yes, 1 billion (1000 000 000)! :)
(This isn't a joke.)

Once I wrote a computer program, which told fairytales to children. Later I got the idea to construct a similar food recipe program.
I analysed the structure of cooked vegan recipes, found the basic algorithms for a computer program, and in less than three hours I wrote the rules for rice recipes.
The result was 8 million rice recipes.

Somebody asked me to make a CD-program for raw vegan recipes, ”because this is the future”.
Now several years later, I don't have the time any longer. I am not a programmer either, so I post this idea here.
Maybe somebody else can create this commercial project for your raw food connected web page.

The end product is a CD which can be sold, attached to a uncookbook as a bonus, or placed on a server of a commercial raw homepage for free internet access.
I'll tell you, the web alternative has a hugely market value – a webpage with the biggest recipe book in the world!
Media will spread the news, and thousands of visitor every day will be exposed to your products.

Some types of recipe questions the program will answer with suggestions:

Please, create some delicious hummus recipes
Something dehydrated with portabello mushroom
I have only this in my fridge... suggest a nice dessert
Avocado dressing for fruits
Give me 20 suggestions for dips
Backpacking recipes
Create recipes with high calcium and magnesium content
Suggest a complete raw gourmet dinner for SAD friends with appetizer, side dish, entree, salad, dessert and drinks

How do the computer know the taste of the recipe? It doesn't.
You have to evaluate the recipe, modify it or ask for a new recipe.

However, I know this from my experience of the fairytale program:
The funny thing, is that the computer will make suggestions of food combinations you never thought were possible.
You will be surprised and now and again discover wonderful new recipes.

Best of luck!

Why stop at 1 billion?

I know an infinite number of brownies recipes:
1) 2 cups of walnuts and 1 cup of raisins blended
2) 2 cups of walnuts and 2 cups of raisins blended
3) 2 cups of walnuts and 1 and 1/2 cups of raisins blended
4) 2 cups of walnuts and 1 and 1/4 cups of raisins blended
5) 2 cups of walnuts and 1 and 3/4 cups of raisins blended
6) 2 cups of walnuts and 1 and 1/8 cups of raisins blended
...... and so on .....
(this does not even count the variations that have raisins and almods in them)

The number of the recipes - one billion - isn't based on the amounts of the ingredients, only the qualitative combinations.;)

By the way, if every year 150 countries each publish 200 different cookbooks, with 400 different recipes,
and none of the recipes is published twice, we have to wait 83 years to reach one billion recipes.

I prefer an idea of a recipe book with generic recipes such as:

"To make brownies, blend any nuts/seeds and dried fruit that you wish."

Simplicity. ;)

Or this variety, Gosia:

"To make brownies, use your fantasy."

Ultimate simplicity:)

Or: don't make brownies, just dream about them :D

What an interesting idea...

I will use my intuition to think of six ingredients.

1. Pineapple
2. Sunflower seeds
3. Tumeric
4. Sesame milk
5. Raw honey
6. Blueberries

What a crazy concoction that would be... But you never know, it could be quite tasty.

I love the creativity of the idea.

Or another six...

1. Pinenuts
2. Baby spinach
3. Garlic
4. Cherry tomatoes
5. Carrot
6. Almond milk

Hmmm... Maybe not.

Here is a dish I've been meaning to make....just an idea I've had.

1. Soaked millet
2. Almond oil
3. Garlic
4. Basil
5. Tomato
6. Mushroom
7. Celtic sea salt
8. Black pepper
9. Lemon juice
10. Lime juice
11. Tahini

That's all I can remember...

It's all about creativity...

Simplicity is mono-eating...
