Today i stepped on the scale and it says i gained 1 pound, that's not too bad but yet i tried not to gain but lose.
I did over eat a little, the pie was delicious.
What's going on with your "Holiday After Reports"? :D :D

1 pound isn't bad - don't beat yourself up too much.
I have lost a few. I did not overeat at all. Nothing was tempting to me. I had my raw sauerkraut, "noasted" turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy (Alissa's recipes), coleslaw - Sharon in Colorado's recipe (Coloniel's slaw, which btw is RAWsome), and RPs brownies. My family are hard core turkey eaters - sad to say. I did let everyone know I adopted two turkeys and a couple comments were made like "of course YOU would adopt turkeys", which I don't take offensively. Maybe one day they will all realize and then again maybe not.
I am passed the cravings on this raw journey, so I know this "most fattening time of the year" will be a breeze for me.
It's called determination. Not to menion how well and healthy I feel. Why would I ever want to go back to SAD and feel like crap?
I hope everyone is doing well...

I went on to tell her what they put babby turkeys through so that she can dine on a slice of Holiday Spirit.

i dont know if i lost any weight, as i just bought a scale this week, but i did have a raw thanksgiving (my very first!) which was- alissas raw strawberry crepes, and an amazing guacamole salad. i know not very traditional, but it was good.

My holiday was a 10 day trip that took me all over. Included in the report are numerous excellent raw meals at great restaurants in NYC. I brought the salad on thankgiving to my brother's and I kept my eating to my salad and a mash potato blend of sweet and white potatoes and a couple of clementines for desert.
During the trip, I did not exercise and consumed some cooked food - including some real white sugar which I NEVER EVER eat.
I am back in the raw groove and went to the gym today.
I try not to spend any energy on beating myself up, guilt, regret, perfection, etc. but I have to admit I don't feel as great as I was feeling and I gained 2.5 pounds.
Since I have been home I'm back on my Goji Berry and my raw diet and moving forward!! :o
