The Whole Foods store on Ashland has a great "raw food" section, with stuff like Living Nutz and Go Raw.

Also... my current FAVORITE restaurant is the Chicago Diner! They're a vegan restaurant with daily raw specials, as the owners just recently went raw :) and are SUPER great people. http://www.veggiediner.com/ If you don't see a raw soup on the menu, ask for it, it's always AMAZING... and if you go there on a day that they have the Nachos... oh my oh my oh my!!!! :D And I won't even mention the cheese cake... heaven on earth!

there is a whole food store on dearborn and superior itis about a mile or so hike from you. Or just a taxi away. I like the simpler food, but karyn's is known for her desserts. dt next to navy peer on illinois is a grocery store, the name escapes me except it is on illinois about two blocks off columbus and two blocks before navy peer this grocery store is full of fressh veggies and fruit, organic and I have even gotten raw olives from there.
