Hi everyone. My name is TimmyC. I've been "missing" for about one year now. No not really missing, but missing from the raw community. A lot has changed in my life to say the very least. The reason I left RFT last year was that I was going through a crisis. I didn't handle it well at all, and I'm still dealing with it on an hour/hour day/day basis. Well that crisis is coming to an end, so I figured I'd give the raw thing a shot again or at least I'm seriously considering it to be honest. I've been off raw food since about Feb/March of '06 btw. Any of my old pals out there?

Wow, never thought I'd get that response. Thank you all for the huge welcome. I appreciate all of your possitive comments. I've never felt better in my life than when I was raw. I want and need to feel that again.

I know I was a cheerleader before, but it will take some time to get back to that status. I've been beaten down pretty hard, and I need to get back up, brush myself off, and continue on trying to make a positive impact on my life and others. I also know I have to surround myself with people who are positive, because it's been nothing but negative for awhile now.

I feel pretty bad about leaving this place. I kind of just disappeared, and I guess that's one of my faults when bad things happen. I need to change that part of me so I'll work on that (asking for help that is).

I'll probably be back on later. Right now I'm picking at 4 inches of ice covering my driveway. I have to get that cleared up.

Hey Tim - ya shoveled out yet? We didn't get hit too bad in St. Charles - but St Louis City in general isn't good. Still lots of folks without power since last Thursday/Friday, and it is COLD out there.

Glad you are back to raw -- good you have you back on this Board. Come up to a potluck at Wild Oats ... 1st Sunday of every month, gather at 5pm, eat at 5:30 --- tis a great time. Had heaps of awesome food this past Sunday. If you want more info about it, send me a note at rawfoodbasics@yahoo.com

Thanks so much everyone again. I really haven't had any time to be on here the last few days. 12 hours of snow/ice removal (only 2/3's done), seeing the lawyers and preparing for that as well as assignments after that, and having a flat tire in the middle of nowhere with one of my cars while the other one is in the shop is what I've been doing the last few days. So I'm sure in the next few days things will return to my normal life.

I also know that I owe some people here some messages. I'll get to them. Be patient and they'll get done.

When I was talking about my crisis, it's just about over with not over with, and the hardest part is going on right now so I hope to get through this with a little help from all of you and my health getting back on track.
