I will be traveling on Monday going to Monroe LA. I am in desperate need of helping finding organics to eat while there. I am taking my blender, and wheatgrass juicer.

I am trying to help my father who has liver cancer, but also, I must eat while there too.

i'm originally from north LA (about 30 minutes from Monroe), and while i'm not too familiar with the farmer's markets and things there, I can say that all except one of those listed by lifeAgift are located at least 1-4 hours from Monroe either in south LA or northwest LA (monroe is in northeast). and you may be willing to travel far in order to find what you're looking for, but i just thought i'd let you know.

and i wanna thank you for that list, lifeAgift, since i am currently living in south LA and find it of great use :D. lol!

although, i don't know exactly where it is, i did find that pioneer, la isn't that far from monroe.

also, the grocery store Super1foods here where i live has a decent selection of organic produce. there's one located in monroe.
