If you've never exercised before, I highly recommend starting out with walking. Powerwalking or racewalking are great to build foundation, and they can be done just about anywhere.

WALK, Dance. Join a gym and get a trainer. I wish you the best, just keep moving, Do things the Hard Way. Instead making one trip make 6. Just keep moving............

Walking is a great way to get started also take a session with a trainer, one that you feel comfortable with, ( some are just out to make a buck), you need to find one that combines eating properly,( less all the powder - chemical crap pushiness ), and working out. If you have to interview them, to find one do it. What do you like to do? walking, biking, swimming, jogging, running, raquetball, tennis, rock climbing?, whatever, find a gym that has the things that you like and the hours and day care, pool, sauna, good location, good classes etc..... Start out easy and just work your way up to what you comfortable with.......Have fun :D

Have you tried Yoga? Beginner level classes ease you into it, and if you ever feel overwhelmed during the class you can go into childs pose which is a resting pose. I love Power yoga, since it gives you both strength training/toning and continuous movement for 1 and a half hours...it's really amazing how you feel afterwards!
