I would like to share a cancer healing story.
I may 2006 i water fasted for 18 days, I had an amazing experience, mainly because during my fasting time I met a guy, Paolo, that was water fasting too. I was healthy and the fasting was not that hard for me, but Paolo was trying to heal from a mouth cancer, that doctors couldn't cure but only give painful surgery.
Paolo didn't want to go through that path and decided to try with natural hygiene and the help of a common friend, a long term rawfoodist, that supported him during the fasting period (Paolo didn't have much support from family and friends that thought he was completely crazy and suicidal).
He started with 3 days of preparation for the fast, eating small amounts of fresh fruits. Then he fasted for 2 weeks, he dropped 20 pounds, he was really weak and sick. When I met him, at the 8th day, he was really having an hard time. His mouth started to heal after 4 days, at the end of the fasting his mouth was perfect again, but he kept eating raw (and mainly fruitarian).
He is still raw now, and healthy, and the doctors couldn't believe what they saw. His cancer was impossible to cure, they said.
I wrote his story on my website too, but it is in italian, and I put 2 pictures of Paolo's mouth for people that want to see his before and after.

Wow, that is an amazing story!

Something, not quite that dramatic, but interesting, happened to my 91 year old grandmother -- She had a cancerous growth on her neck and the doctors said they couldn't do anything except surgery.

She decided against surgyer, fasted and put straight aloe vera gel on it and about 2 weeks later, it literally fell off in her hand... there isn't even a scar now.

It is truly amazing what the body can do if it is supported properly and left to do its own healing.

I just love stories like this!!!

Animals in the wild, if they get injured or sick - they stop eating!!!

If the injury is too grave - they will die.
If the illness has gone past the point of no return - they will die.

Otherwise their body heals and they get well and then resume eating again. I believe we could learn a lot by watching nature.

Thanks michigan, but yeah, it still doesn't work for me. It must have been something you downloaded. If you can ever figure out what makes it work that way or what you downloaded, I'd love to hear how.

Anyhow, thanks for trying. :)

Amazing story and pictures!

What are chiliege? (My first guess is Aquilegia, but that's columbine, and doesn't look like something we'd eat.) How much does he weigh now? How tall is he?

I have decided to translate the testimonial, but i apologize in advance for the numerous mistakes!!

Fasting duration:
* 3 days before, preparation for the water fast (light meals of cherries)
*12 days of water fasting
*5 days of juice fasting and some raw fruits and veggies

*starting date: 05.30.06
*initial weigh 59 kg
*final weight 49 kg (the lowest)

I hope that my experience can be useful for someone else in the future. I am not going to make it prettier, I am not going to add or remove any informations, this is my raw truth.

The first 3 days I have been eating small quantities of cherries, and I started losing weigh (1.2 kg the first day), with an average weight loss of 0.5 kg/day.

RESULTS
*during the first 3 days of cherries-fast and the first 2 days of water fasting my gums and the bumps started to get better; I was feeling entusiastic.
* between the 3rd and the 4th day the sores in the upper area of my mouth (not visible in the picture, I had 3 major areas with painful bumps, but this one was the biggest, bigger than the teeth, so that I couldn't chew at all. I felt a deep pain "inside" the gums too, and i couldn't even touch my teeth with the tongue because of the pain)
*the happiness: between the 4th and the 5th day i realised that the pain was going away, and 2 of the 3 the bumps were getting smaller, the third one wasn't there anymore.
*between the 6th and the 7th day the upper bump was quite small, the pain was gone and I thought that it was probably possible to chew again. The one visible in the picture was still there but it was getting smaller and with a more normal colour.

MY GOAL
Initially I wanted to fast for 8 days.
When I reached 8 days Alfio wanted me to fast for 14 days, as I was going very well. That was a great opportunity for me, maybe the only one. I would have had all the time of my life to eat again, but only this time to heal. So I went for the 2 weeks.

*9th day - very low energies, I've rested a lot in the shade, probably I have drank too much water, but my throat and mouth were always so dry, and my breath so bad.
I started to spit a lot of blood coming from my gums.

*10th day - i was eliminating a lot of toxins, I didn't have energies but the body was still detoxing. I had just enough strenght to go to the toilet but not to walk up the stairs. When the body is so busy detoxing doesn't leave you with much energy.

*the morning of the 13th day i felt incredibly hungry. I knew what I wanted and I wanted it immediately! I desperately wanted fresh orange juice! I called Crsitiana (Alfio's partner) to ask her some juice, and I cannot describe what I felt when I had a teaspoon of it!! That was amazing!

I started to eat again, but very little (fresh orange juice and fruits) and my body have been detoxing for days even after the fast.

*my tongue: the tongue was always coated with a white coat for the first 8 days and then it started to get better
*my urines: since i started the colour was quite dark, very concentrated and with bad odour, then things got more normal after the first week
*problems during the fast - the first 8 days went quite smooth, I had some cramps and stomach pain, but nothing major. I had an acid reflux and a terrible breath. I had a very bad taste in my mouth, dry and bitter.
After the 8th day the nausea disappeared too.

*after the 9th day I couldn't sleep at night, I was thinking a lot, I had many thoughts about the past, I was remembering mistakes I made in the past, old fights, negativities, wrong behaviours that I though were forgotten.

MISTAKES - i think I have been too much in the sun. Alfio told me not to do that too much, but i didn't listen and it drained me.
I drank too much water too, initially it felt good but after it was like i couldn't digest it.
What i can say, at the end of the story, that I have learnt to listen and understand my body, and this is the most important thing.

UPGRADE SEPTEMBER 2006
I am very good, and very happy too. I chew normally now and everything is okay.
I had a CAT scan, mainly to satisfy people curiosity around me. I surprised all doctors, because I am perfectly healthy. My doctor wanted to know what I did and eventually I told him.
He was quite shocked and he told me that he would like to talk about my story to other doctors.
