Yesterday was my two month mark! I am soo happy!! I can't believe the big difference in my life!! I would like to share my story. I used to pray to God for a purpose because my life was soo boring and it seemed pointless. At 33, I was engaged to be married. I was at five one, one hundred and sixty pounds. I have always been very active, walking my dogs and going to the gym atleast five times a week. I just accepted the fact that I was getting old, and fat and that was my life. I tried to make myself feel better about the extra weight by calling myself a "thick diva" My maid of honor in Sept took me to Davids Bridal to try on a wedding dress. I looked in the mirror and didn't want to have a wedding. I didn't want people to see me in the wedding dress with fat hanging out. I tried to suck in my stomach but fat was hanging out of the dress on my back, and I couldnt' suck in my face. I was depressed. I decided to look further into the raw food diet. I tried it a year ago, and I only had Juliannos book, and the recipes did not seem practical to make every day and salads got boring fast. So, I came across this site and found it to be great support. I continued to go to the gym and eat raw foods, and every pay check I would order raw books and raw recipe books. I wanted to read as much about the raw lifestyle as possible. I have not weighed myself. But when I started this in Sept 21, I was an xtra large in the junior dept. I am proud to say that yesterday I tried on a medium sweater and IT WAS TOO LARGE! I had to get a small!!! I was soo surprised! All that in just two months!!! I now have a purpose in my life! And its to tell the world about the wonderful benefits of eating raw foods and to share how delicious raw dishes can be! Thank you Alissa for this site, it has been a great support system!!
Thanks for sharing your story and congratulations! I too have been raw now for a little over two months (and down 25 pounds), we must of started around the same time. I bet you will now look fabulous in your wedding dress now. :D

This is so great to hear!
To add pics-go to "Go Advanced" at the bottom and push "Manage Attachments" and you can upload there. Ignore this if that is what you tried already.
I can't wait to see your before and afters!

You can crop or just resize it by using MS Office Picture Manager, most computers have that automatically installed.
Congrats on your journey!!! :D
