Hey sara! Been waiting to hear from you culinary cuties! Juicing? I am happiest with mono juices. Sometimes I thin them out with a little water. Its all a matter of personal taste I think but I am sure that there are good recipes in that section of this board. Can't wait to see the 2nd half of the show!

Welcome, with open arms, Sara Culinary Cutie! It is very exciting for us to be in the company of celebrities like you and Jhosie!
I'm no juice expert, although you could do a quick search using the banana at the top of the page for different suggestions. (Just type in 'juice', etc.- Whatever you're looking for more information about.) I hope you find RFT (RawFoodTalk) to be as helpful, encouraging, and supportive as I do!
Wishing you much happiness on your raw journey!
With Love.

Hey There Sara Welcome and - just keep eating!
Would love to know how you are progressing!
Whoops - missed the part about the juice fast - I made an awesome juice when I was fasting, when I was in the grocery store, I grabbed the bottle of V8 and took it to produce, got all the stuff on the ingredient list then put the bottle back on the shelf.
Think it was firm tomatoes, celery, carrots, a tiny slice of beet (the beet turns it purple), a little onion, some lemon, lettuce, spinach something along those lines. I added salt & cayenne to it but of course you don't have to.

I find Carrot Juice to be very filling and holds me for hours. I also like Cantelope Juice. I do a lot of what's in Season, and Carrots are always in Season.

hi sarah,
where are the pictures? i can't find them, maybe looking in the wrong place.
i have some wonderful juice recipes from Charlie Trotter & Roxanne Klein's "Raw". They are more filling as they have a little nut milk in them. So depending on where you are on your juice fast, you could have them now or save them for coming off of the fast.
French melon, celery and mint
1 1/2 cups french melon (honeydew?)
1/4 cup granny smith apple
2 celery stalks
1/4 cup cashew milk
2 tablespoons maple sugar or agave
juice of 3 limes
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
12 mint leaves
1 cup crushed ice
juice the melon, apple and celery
stir in rest of ingredients and crush the mint leaves and add at the end with ice. DELICIOUS!
Good luck and have fun!
