I have been eating +\-90% raw these past 4 days. I cannot seem to go 100% raw. My cooked food is eaten at the end of the day...I cannot seem to "feel full" until I eat something cooked?????

This is from my journal entry today...but I wanted to post it over here and get some input on this. None of my books seems to touch on this. Is it an emotional thing?? Or do I have to re-learn what "full" feels like??

Yesterday I satisfied my ****need*** with some cooked bok choy in soy sauce and ginger. I cooked it on the "warm" setting (lowest) of the electric stove. But I ate a whole bowl of this before I could be "full".?

Thanks,
Marie

How about incorporating some green smoothies into your diet. They are very filling.

If you KNOW you are eating a wide variety (and amount) of fresh raw foods...and you are still feeling empty...then it is probably not a food issue. Go back to a level of raw eating where you are VERY comfortable...and make new goals to stretch from there. Just my opinion.

Marie,

What are you eating throughout the day? Could you give us a couple of days that are typical for you?

It does get better. Your body does adjust to the lighter feeling of raw foods. Then it is heavenly because you no longer have that heavy/tired feeling after eating.

I also had to get used to a different full feeling. I didn't feel "Full"-stuffed but I felt that I had eaten enough. It is strange at first, you have to "listen" to your body. I just didn't want to eat anymore. You will get used to it. I feel so much better after a meal now-I don't have to wait an hour or so to stop feeling uncomfortable. :)
