View Full Version : RP's brownies are catching on............

I made these brownies once with the store bought icing recipe and shared with my brother. He loved them- and he is not at all raw (trying to get him to eat ONE fruit and vegie a day!).

My brother approached me this past week and asked if I would make the "raw brownies" as he calls them, for his mountaineering class potluck. Of course, I agreed. I just got done making 2 batches. I hope they all like them. This has to be the best recipe for SAD eaters!! Yippee!

Oh thank you so much, they were a mistake, LOL

but I do make them for EVERY SAD eater I know, and they never guess they are raw or good for them, it wins alot of them over to at least exploring the raw lifestyle.

I usually do it like this, I say, "Raw food isn't wilted lettuce and rubber carrots, it's this." then I hand them a plate full of my raw brownies, and they sign into a heavenly raw state. NOW THAT IS POWERFUL RAW JUJU!

YOU GO GIRL, make as much as you can, distribute them everywhere.

YES ! Everyone loves RP's Brownies. I make them with Almonds and they are equally awesome ! yummmmmmmm.

The store bought icing recipe is raw and featured in of the archive threads. I think that they named it this because it resembles real frosting- I actually like it better. As an adult, I can't handle real frosting anymore.

Oh ok thanks for the clarification. I was taking it literally and the store bought icing has a lot of undesirable ingredients with trans fat being #1.
