I don't mean to disrespect Alyssa or promote something other than her book.. unfortunately I have not been able to purchase it yet (hope soon) and it is not in the library for me to borrow.

I have found several books at the local library but one that is exceptionally good. It is written by Renee Loux Underkoffler called Living Cuisine.

The recipes I have tried have been excellent. These are the ones that I have tried and highly recommend:

Sun-Fired Italien Vinaigrette
Honey-Nut Cereal
3-6-9 Bars
Aioli Sauce (wonderful to use for dipping veggies or thinning out for salad dressing)

Following are a few of the delicious sounding recipes just waiting for me to try.

New Fig Bars
Muesli Flat Bread
Chili Lime Corn Chips
Pecan Sandies
Fudge Cookies
Peaches and Cream Pie
Mango Papaya Coconut Cream Pie w/ Raspberry Frosting
Shiitaki Mushroom Burgers
Sun and Moon Burgers
Sweet Pickle Relish
Butternut Angel Hair w/Puttanesca Sauce
Zucchini Linguini w/Crimini Mushroom and Alfredo Sauce
Various Seed and Nut Cheeses
Crystal Spring Rolls w/ Bon Bon Dipping Sauce
Minestrone Harvest Soup

This is just a small sample of the yummies in this book.

Enjoy

Thanks for sharing! We are always looking for good yummy recipes!

I will check it out- I am still awaiting my RAW-IN-Ten book to arrive. I'm hoping the recipes there will be easy and tastey for me to make on the go!

Take care-

I've been wanting her -Renee's- books for sometime!
Saw her do a food demo (Key Lime pie) on a video I borrowed from someone and really liked her. Her food looks divine!
Thanks for the tips ladies! I will definately have to get her book to add to my
collection!

Sure wish these kinds of authors get more exposure. Usually I hear of these books via word of mouth. I'm going to check my library and see if they have a copy of it.

I have Renee's book. I have not tried anything yet, but look forward to trying a number of things.

A word of warning to some people that may be concerned. It is not a 100% raw book. She steams some of her veggies. She does say that it is so they are more digestible. But, some really raw people may not care for that.

However, a large portion of the recipes are raw. I do plan on trying some of her raw recipes very soon!

i have had it for awhile...haven't really used it yet. more recipes than time :) i have bought just about every raw food book that i can find/get my hands on. periodically, i do a search on amazon just using the search: living foods or raw food just to see what i come up with. Tanya Zavasta is coming out with a new recipe book this spring/summer. I have preordered that along with Raw in Ten. Also, waiting for one from Amazon called Raw Food for Busy People. Now that sounds PERFECT!!! :)
