Eating kiwi with peel

Hi everyone,
My young son LOVES eating kiwi fruit (his favorite) WITH the peel! :p He said he saw someone eat it this way at school and now he just loves it! Anyone here ever tried that? I haven't, but will... :D ;)

I agree. Eat the whole thing - except the hard little ends...
I'll never forget years ago when Kiwis first were introduced in the U.S. My sister-in-law and I bought one. Put it on the kitchen table. Both of us sat across from it with a knife and neither one of us wanted to open it. I mean. Come on - it's fuzzy! But boy, when we did and tasted it? WHOA! :eek: It was love at first bite!!!

Don't the little hairs get stuck and make your throat itch? Surely not, since everyone but me's eating 'em this way. But still, when I look at them...

That's funny! No, at least I haven't had that problem. I throw them in smoothies so the "hair" gets ground up.
I'm more concerned that the black seeds will end up in my teeth and I won't know it and I'll be smiling away! Now THAT's attractive! :D :eek:

My sister and I cannot get the skins near our mouths. Makes our lips itch and burn. :(
