Day 1 Headache at this time...

Hello All,
I have been on this board for at least a year...just reading. I have unsuccessfully tried to go raw before and here I am again..still trying. Today is my first day juice fasting. It is about 6pm now and I am staying strong. I am not really that hungry, I just have a splitting headache. Did any of you take advil, Tylenol, or aspirin on your fast? What do you think about it?

I am trying to cure depression, 40lbs overweight, possible prostatitis, and baldness :D (don't worry I won't be disappointed if thatlast one doesn't pan out)

Hi Dean... Welcome! :D

I was like you and came to this board long before I registered. I have learned so much here.

As for for headaches... I had quite a headache on another fast when I'd been drinking coffee. I did take something for it... as I need to be feeling good to keep up with my days. It only lasted briefly and didn't have adverse effects from taking ibupropfen... probably because it was at the beginning of my fast.

Fasting has been very helpful to me with my raw journey and creating great energy and health. There is some fasting information on the Fasting Support Thread... on the first page, first post if that interests you.

You're sure welcome to join that thread too... some of us doing fasts there. :p

Such a nice welcome, than you for that. On day 2 now. Headache went away, now I am just hungry!!!! I should be ok though. Just could tear up a burrito right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
