Well, thanks to all who have given prayers, positive thoughts, and words of encouragement over the past few days. Things have not been fun, nor easy, being in the hospital. I am happy to stay that staying raw in the hospital is not only possible, but was quite easy and amazingly well supported by the dietary staff. :D
After 4 units of blood, my hemaglobin did return to just below normal and I am feeling much more like a person! I have been able to stay at 100% raw and am quite surprisingly feeling great... not having severe detox, but rather an amazing amount of energy and stamina, especially for what my body has been through in the past few days.
The weight is really coming off so much easier this time (10 lbs in a little over a week) and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I am not focusing on how hard it will be to be raw and trying to make all these gourmet meals, but just staying SOO simple. I can't afford to be/do gourmet anyhow! My appetite is really not big right now either, so that helps!
There is still a high possibility that whatever is going on with my body is cancer related, but I am trusting that my body will use the fuel I am giving it in the form of whole, natural, raw foods, to heal.
Everyone on this board is wonderful in how they uplift and support each other with kindness. I just hope everyone knows how much I appreciate them!
