Hi everyone,

We are going to have an "apple" dinner tonight. I would love some ideas/recipes for dips. I was thinking of a caramel type dip and a chocolately carob type dip.

Any ideas?

RP posted a good recipe for caramel. You could look for that.

it's not a dip, but I like waldorf salads, with soaked walnuts, celery, apples, and a nice homemade mayo.

maybe make a chocolate mousse or pudding to dip it in?

Like avocado blended with banana and raw cacao or carob powder?

Mmmmm... that sounds yummy! Where's a good recipe for mayo, does Alissa have one in her book?

While you're looking in Alissa's book, check out the recipe for Pad Thai - the sauce for the noodles is wonderful on sliced apples. And the caramel sauce that someone previously mentioned is also excellent. Mmmm, now I'm getting hungry!
