The weather has now turned a bit colder in England at night (I'm in the south east on the outskirts of London).

Earlier I was in my bed with the covers pulled up to keep me warm, reading through Alissa's book and planning all the yummy food I'm going to prepare over the next few days. Absolute bliss on a cold evening. :)

You can see it doesn't take much to make me happy!

Tracy, I prepare much more Raw food during the winter months.

I have more time, but I also enjoy the *kitchen* aspect of prepping which I did not during any SAD cooking. In fact I used to DREAD the kitchen.

I curl up with my Raw books all the time.

That's so funny. I wondered how I was going to get through the cold months of winter here...and then I got Alissa's book and have been great. I make something at least every other day...it's a bit warm and really filling. Just what you need in those cold, cold days. ;) I'm pretty easy to please too!
I find myself looking forward to the plentiful summer fruits and lighter eating though. So, I will embrass the warmer months when they arrive too!

This is so funny!

When I was eating SAD I ate out, or odered in, all the time because I didn't want to come home and fix dinner. When I did fix something it was probably using a box and a can. Oh, there were occassions when I did try to make a "real" SAD dinner ...

When I talk to people about eating raw and tell them about the recipes etc. they say, "That just sounds like too much work!" and I tell them that it's really more fun than "cooking" :D
