I love, love the taste of butternut squash but.....

:) when i chop it up and put it in my convection oven it takes a little higher temp than 115% to soften it up enough to chop it and peel it.
Please tell me if you can how do you soften your butternut squash to use for your dishes?

I would just leave it in for longer :)

Or...from what I've read, shred it, then blend it in a high speed blender, such as a Vita-Mix until smooth.
