I read more up on it there was alink inside the link you posted. I wrote to them and asked if it is pasturized. Well see what they have to say about that.

I looked through their website. Basically they are just diffusing CO2 into the fruit...the same as soft drinks. I used to wonder why they didn't do this sooner! LOL.

-No...the fruit would not be cooked....although I cannot vouch for any decrease in nutritional content or safety. Although I avoid carbonation and processed foods.......if a person had no objection to carbonation......it would probably be all right. Especially if the main thrust is to get kids to eat more fruit than they otherwise would.......I would certainly think the ends justify the means in this particular case.

Carbon dioxide is a waste product produced by our body and we get rid of some every time we exhale. Why would we want to ingest any more???

Anything to make a buck - unbelievalbe!
