S blade on food processors

Hi all !
Formerly a reader, just now registered to ask a question.

I may get a food processor for my birthday, and many recipes call for the 's' blade.

When I look at info on the web, I don't see any specific mention of that blade by name.

Usually, it's 2 or 4mm slicing & 4mm shredding. Some have dough blades.

Any suggestions? I printed some info from Shiva D back last spring I think that recommended Kitchen Aid, so I'm leaning that way.

the s blade came with my processor and it is a basic one, it looks like an s its spins around and cuts up whatever is in the processor.

Thanks for the pics - exactly what it looks like, too. I have a mini, less than 1 c. chopper, and the blade looks just like that.

now, on to shopping !
