I have been doing green smoothies, I only use water. Sometimes if I am feeling very hungry I use coconut milk rarely though. I am not having a desire to drink water. This morning I noticed under the eye puffiness, whitch I rarely get. I say kidney needs flushing when I see puffy under the eye or darkness. I do not have the darkness, just small puffy, not usual for me. I have been doing mostly smoothie green that is. I will eat whole fruit and a salad. I have some thia food yesterday maki with just veggies and the rice. any realated circumstances. Still no wait loss, this is the second week. I will have a large green smoothie this morning and I will try some Raw family recipe soup for lunch. I must take snack to the kids music lessons, I get hungry in about every 2 hours, until 4pm, then I am not really hungry and I may do an apple or banana in the evening with water. What do you think?

Hey Imani - congrads on your raw journey. Hang in there w/the eye puffiness. I'd say that's detoxing? Our bodies detox in many different ways.
Keep doing what you are doing. All raw, then you will surely clean yourself out.
As far as not having the desire to drink water? I noticed that too when I first went raw and asked about it and was told that since we are eating whole, living foods, which come with their own supply of water, we didn't need to compensate. The massive amounts of water we are told to drink is when you are eating a SAD diet.
Sounds like you are eating well. I too eat every couple of hours, and that's okay. That's what my body is telling me.
How about nuts? Do you like them? How about trying to incorporate some into your diet?
I wish you continued luck with your health. Don't stress on how much you weigh, how much you used to weigh and what you want to weigh. I think we all get hung up on numbers too darn much these days. Your body will respond to how you are fueling it. It will know when it has reached it's desired weight.

I notice that I have less of a desire for water when the weather gets cooler. I almost have to force myself to drink enough water in the wintertime. During the summer, however, I empty my big water pitcher 2 or 3 times a day!
