Fennel.....

What do you guys do with it? I was thinking of trying juice and a smoothie. Any ideas of what it would be good mixed with?

delicious salad in raw food real world, with thinly sliced fennel, red grapefruit sections, and avocado.

I can't remember the exact dressing, I think it was mac nut oil, some citrus juice, and I definitely remember putting a little fresh ground coriander seeds.

It gets great reviews from sad and raw types alike.

yes i second that salad in raw food real world, the tastes really compliment each other. I also love the fennel salad in Alissa's book, i think it has onion and lemon in i tend to make one the one week and the other the next.

With all the amazing apples this time of year I ADORE fennel juiced with apple. Sometimes I'll add ginger, or lemon, or greenery.. or a combo of.

Fresh salad is one way I eat it because I never knew of any other. Even without salad it's great. I don't eat those horn type spikes.

Fennel seed is used in the making of italian sausage.

So I would put it on Alissa' pizza or mix in with your no meat loaf and crumble over veggie pasta or add to tomato sauce.
