I'm thinking about getting these and wanted to know if those of you who have read them found them helpful?

I do too!
I actually have gotten and/or read everything and anything I can relating to eating raw! It has helped a lot.
Another excellent book is Victoria Boutenko's Green for Life! Very good book.
Of course Alissa's is the best! ;)
Seriously. Her's is very easy to understand and full of information regarding various foods and recipes.
Yes! they are excellent sources of information and inspiration too :)
The dvd is lovely to watch, about their path and their vegan family.

I got these quite awhile ago. They do have a lot of infornmation. But I only really got them for Jinjee's journal. I wish she would update more then she does. I understand she is so busy with all the great work they do. But for me I thought it would be more like a weekly journal. So I think it depends on what you are looking for. They are a great family and very inspirational.

Hi... I greatly admire them as a family... very inspirational. However, I ordered their ebooks awhile ago and was disappointed. I see that you've been around the site for quite awhile. I wonder if there will be that much new in what they have.
If you're looking for inspiration... that may be interesting for you. But, if you're looking to learn more in depth info or for amazing recipes... it was very basic information in most regards. And, perhaps of greatest benefit to someone very new to raw eating.
All the best...

I ordered their 7 Days Raw - Raw Vegan Shopping and Diet Plans ebook and I was a little disappointed in the lack of guidance it provided. Basically it just gives you the grocery lists and what to eat on what days, I was looking for something more (maybe I had unrealistic expectations given that I'm so new to this).
Anyway for $10 it was not a monumental disappointment, however I think you can probably get just as much information (and a ton of support) from this website.
I do find the Taliferos' authentic lifestyle to be very inspirational though.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone! I have limited money and I think I'll hold off on these for awhile, since I'm doing really well right now and I have other things that I need more.

Hi, Goldenrod,
I was introduced to raw living through Storm and Jinjee. Their e-books a re a bit simplistic but what I do very much like about them is that their recipies are simple, they need no appliences except a blender/food processer. THAT REALLY HELPED in my early days of raw food.

They were running a special once awhile back. I got the 10 ebooks & dvd.
Now, they have new projects going on.
They are wonderful for inspiration.

RawsomeRed-I was thinking of ordering their 7 Days Raw e-book mainly for a simple menu guide. Do you think that part of this book was worthwhile? Just curious before I order it, I was just hoping for a simple week plan that would require no thinking on my part! Ha! I'm just having trouble staying raw with our cold, wet, gray weather and was looking for something motivational and easy.

Their ebooks are great. I got the whole lot of them during one of their special deals for like 10 or 20 dollars. I would not pay $10 for one of them, but for the whole group of books together it is very much worth it.
