Just wanted to get an informal consensus here about the way you normally eat raw. Think of how you eat at home on a normal day, not including times when you eat out or get together with friends.

Which one to choose if I eat mostly simple, high veggies, high fruit, and moderate fat?

I chose mixed - simple and gourmet because while most of the time I eat simple, I also have recipes from time-to-time whenever I feel the desire to do so. I don't eat a lot of nuts by the handful like I used to and that wasn't a conscious effort, just happened over time.

I do eat a fairly high fruit diet so I picked simple and gourmet, I still enjoy making fun recipes (desserts) although most of my meals are very simple and high fruit/greens/low veggie based.

Great idea to do this Sharon!

I said fruitarian,

because although I do occasionally eat a nut burger patty, or rawvilis, I mostly eat fruits, or a fruit plate when out with friends, it's very unlikely that I eat greens or root veggies, I do eat mostly sweet fruits with orange juice every day and pineapple and mangos and some nuts, and some dates, but mostly it's just orange juice and pineapple and some kind of fruit plate.

now, as it gets cooler, I am eating more and more tomatoes, and other veggie type fruits and some root veggies too.

So, maybe simple, low fats, high fruit?

although I occasionally have almond milk, so, I'm not sure, I don't know EEK!, the stress of not knowing.YIKES!!!

I eat simple, high fruit, moderate fat (usually one avocado per day, though yesterday I ate lots of olives because they came and I hadn't had any for several weeks). I usually have fruit for breakfast and dinner and a salad with lots of veggies for lunch.

Thanks guys. This is helpful, and interesting.

If you feel that your fat intake is 'moderate' then you can click "other".

Hey Sharon,

I chose the first option because I guess it closely resembles how I'm eating "now". Still, though, I also consider that I'm gravitating to eating higher amount of greens (lettuce, spinach,...) about 3% of my total calories (not many calories in lettuce but lots of volume). The rest of my calories come from fruit.

Yet, most of my meals are mono too.

No longer eat any garlic, onions, spices, or excessive nuts or seeds.

There are so many ways people eat - and 2 people eating the same diet may see it as totally different. Maybe one person sees it as fruitarian, while the other sees it as mono-mealing, while another sees it as low-fat, high fruit.

Hmmm....maybe I should update this poll with more concise selections.

Like for the low-fat, I was thinking about putting 811 but then I thought not everyone follows that plan here, even though they don't eat much fat.

So maybe it should say something like 20% or less than calories from fat. For the high fat, 40% or more of calories from fat, however I think most people here don't measure much, so don't really know what their intake is.

I just thought it would be really interesting to get a consensus on what/how people on here are really eating.

Thanks for all the feedback so far!

I put other.

Breakfast is always green smoothies. 50% of the time I have them for lunch or dinner too. Usually my 3rd meal is a salad or someother dish. So I really have no clue what you would call it, LOL!

I usually eat a Simple/Gourmet diet. I stick to salads and broccoli, cabage and tomatoes, dried fruits and lots of nuts in different forms, pesto stuffed portabellos, soups and flax cracker as well. I've been raw since feb. and I see myself drawn to the simpler stuff. I really like to eat at home.

When I'm behaving myself, I eat mainly fruits and smoothies and juices made of fruits and greens.

Then some days I'll get into the avocados and my chili-almonds and shoot that all to heck LOL
