Tiramisu

I was recently at Quintessence in NYC and had the most amazing tirimusu and would love to make some for a thanksgiving gathering. . . does anyone know of any recipes- it was so completely out of this world and I would be so forever grateful to anyone who had any ideas!!

by the way- quintessence is an absolutely incredible restaurant, i highly recommend it if you're in the city. . .

Carol Alt's book had some recipes from Quintessence. Maybe not the tiramisu, but thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for that heads-up. My husband and I are going to NYC at the end of November for a business trip and I will be trying out the raw food establishments while he's in his meetings. I will make sure to get Q on my list.

Hey Blacktulip,

I had the absolute BEST tiramisu at Pure Food and Wine (Sarma's restaurant) in NY. Please make sure you visit that restaurant while you're there. My husband fell in love with the food and he's not a big fan of raw food. I enjoyed watching him savor the food.

I was hoping Sarma and Matthew's book (Raw Food Real World) had the recipe for the
tiramisu but it doesn't.

OMG, MYC...I'm still hunting for knishes, like Knish Nosh--not raw-makes in NY and Matthew Kenney's cannoli recipe. He offers cooking classes and his booklets are $25 (think in the Italian booklet) I think for maybe 2 or 3 recipes. Would love to support him, but can't put that much into the cannoli charge. Maybe one day I will.
