Okay, I just have to ask this...do the durians not smell anymore once they get over here to the US? I have been to Thailand a couple times, even lived there for 3 1/2 months, and I have to tell you once Durian entered the building EVERYONE knew it! :eek: Most of the hotels have signs telling you they don't allow durian to be brought into the building :o Because of the smell I was never brave enough to try one. Both times I was in Thailand I wasn't raw, and now after hearing the raw community rave about durians I have decided to be brave when I go back there next April :) So, just curious.
