Hi all,
I'm completely dependent on my K-tec blender since I use to at least 4 times a day. It has just started to leak tons of water out of the canister. Not just a little liquid but a LOT. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, did you have to buy and new canister and where did you buy it from? I would love it if I could buy it from someone in Canada if I have to buy a whole new top. I've looked on-line but can't find anything.
This really is urgent because I rely on this so much.
All help appreciated.

Sorry to hear about canister problems. I find my K-Tec to be awesome...
The person at email address captogo@excite.com ships to Canada -- really good prices, super honest etc.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I actually just found out that I'm still covered under warranty. I've just shipped it off to get replaced. I also managed to find a friend who is lending me hers in the meantime.
Problem resolved!! Thank goodness :D

Rmiller, I had the same experience. I learned, once I called the company, that after washing, you should always dry it upside down so the moisture doesn't degrade the rubber washer. Also, I was told it is best not to put it in the dishwasher. Quite honestly, once in a great while I do run it through the dishwasher and it has been ok. I have also purchased a second pitcher to have as standby should a problem arise again.
I didn't have the above info when I purchased mine, so I hope this is of help to you.

They even say on most blenders never to let them sit with water in them or soak them. Now they tell me!!! *grin*

Yes, I have had it happen to 3 now. I am not too impressed. The blender is great, but why should they have such problems with the seal. Don't all other blenders have seals? I am not sure how the Vitamix works. I have been turning them upside-down for some time now, but water still sits on the underside then.
I got my spares on ebay from a seller who sells lots of this stuff. I just did a search.
