I am 47 years old mother of 4. I ate what I thought was a "healthy diet". not a lot of meats, low fat foods etc. But as I got older I slowly started gaining a few pounds. I had always been fairly active but I really got bqck into exercise and was still not shedding any pounds. joined Weight Watchers and lost some at first but then didn't lose and actually gained. I felt very deprived. I have been eating raw for 5 months after reading Carol Alts book. My skin is great and I am 20 lbs less. I am sleeping better(another problem you can have as you get older) and all in all I feel better. Lately though I have had a clear dripping from my nose a lot. i wanted to know if anyone has experienced this? K.

Yes, for many it is allergy to wheat or dairy. Mine has stopped on raw except for during allergy season or when it is very blowy and dusty here in the desert. But since your are raw longer than me it may be a detox or healing crisis.
Welcome!

welcome, the clear drippage is an allergic reaction, a cloudy discharge is a bacterial or viral infection.

Well you have to Fight the pounds off, you have to do as Susan says, you have to move, you have to eat and you have to breath. RAW is oh so much more than a wage on the weight List. It's a LifeStyle change. It will change your Life in everyway, if you let it.
You must read a REAL RAW Book, how about getting Alissa's Book, Living on Live Food. It is available on this site. I think Carol is a very nice person but I think she has some things in her book she hasn't worked out. Or should I say that is not for me.
I know you can't be eating RAW food when eating DEAD meat, no matter how raw it is.
I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW.....Welcome to MY World........
