sunshine9,

I've been looking for a soft wrap/shell recipe and your photo was just stunning. Can you post the recipe or direct me to the raw genius that's come up with it?
:D

Many thanks,

Carmella

The genius for the soft taco is Pure Food and Wine, and I got the recipe from their book "Raw Food Real World."

Here you go...
3 cups fresh corn kernels (2-3 ears corn)
1.5 cups chopped yellow or red pepper
3/4 cup golden flaxseed, finely ground
1 T lime juice
1 T ground chili powder
1.5 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons ground cumin

1. Chop corn & bell pepper in food processor. Add remaining ingredients and process until almost smooth.
2. Divide dough onto two dehydrator trays; Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 3-4 hours. Flip, peel away Teflex, dehydrate for two more hours.
3. Use a round cutter or small plate to trace tortillas and cut with a knife.

Enjoy!!

note- I cut WAY down on the salt and spices in the recipe. I would suggest adding less than half of what is called for, taste and proceed.

Ohhhh Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I've just had another look at your pic (which I had downloaded on my computer, of course!) and now I can't wait to make it! Sigh! I wish my stomach was bigger...there's too many mouth-watering recipes and too little space (and time!)LOL
