I just got 2 big bunches of the sweetest swiss chard I've ever tasted! Yum! I usually find it too bitter to eat raw and therefore use it only in smoothies so I'm all excited at the prospect of actually creating something with it.
I'm thinking it would be great as some kind of roll or wrap. Maybe stuffed with Bill's meatloaf and topped with a cashew-mushroom sauce. Anybody has other recipe suggestions?

Thanks!

Oooh the possibilities are endless!

I personally like to make wraps with a bunch of veggies and some sort of salad dressing, then roll it up in the wrap. mmm...

Or you could do guacamole and veggies
or a nut pate
or Alissa's carrot pecan burgers

let us know how it turns out!

Mmmmmmm. Sounds yum! I've also come across the much praised Philly Cheesesteak recipe which will be perfect as I have a bunch of Portobellos too. I've forgotten which thread but here's the recipe for those who missed it:

Philly Cheesesteak
"How We All Raw” by Top Raw Men

Steak
In a bowl, add:
2 portabello mushrooms
1/2 cup extra virgin cold pressed olive oil
1/2 cup nama shoyu (raw soy sauce)
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 Tbs ume plum vinegar

Set aside & let marinate.

Vegetables
In a separate bowl, add:
1 green bell pepper, seeded & sliced
1 cup broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup white onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup extra virgin cold pressed olive oil

Set aside & let marinate.

Cheese
In a blender, add:
1 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2-3 Tbs raw apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup onion
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup water

Blend until creamy.

To make the Philly Cheesesteak, start with a whole Swiss chard leaf. First spread a layer of steak, then the vegetables, and finally the cheese. Roll & eat!

Someone posted (Sorry, I forgot who!):*I just made the mostest awesomest dinner ever! I can't believe how good it is! I only used parts of the recipe. I made it without the marinated veggies so it was just steak & cheese but I threw in some sweet white onions in the steak marinade. Oh & I wrapped it in iceberg lettuce instead of Swiss chard
