Sun dried raisins

I have been eating "Sun maid" sun dried raisins for years and love them. My question is are these raisins REALLY sun dried, and if so what is the process of sun dry? :confused:

Someone asked that last year and someone else reported they regularly saw beg beds of raisins in fields in the USA. So I think it's as simple as dry in the sun!
