I get my agave nectar from Colorado. The website is www.madhavahoney.com.
It comes in both light and dark. . .I prefer the light. It's hard to find but worth the effort!
Enjoy!

I was able to get a quart of raw organic agave nectar free from them at the Natural Foods expo this past fall and it was wonderful. So I recommend this as well. Thanks for the website

You can only buy it in person at their store tho', no online shopping.

Our co-op gets RAW agave nectar through Madhava. There's no color choice when we do, but it's not heated above 115 F . Plus it is super affordable. It is shocking to see how much some of these websites are charging for a gallon of the stuff.

Is this raw!? This is what I've been getting from whole foods but I didn't think it was raw and was going to stop using it. Oh, I hope it is!!!

Hi Sharon,
I was wondering whether the raw agave nectar your co-op gets from Madhava is the same stuff they sell in stores (Whole Foods), or if you had to special order it in order for it to be raw?

Just wondering, because they do sell it here in chicago!

Thanks,

Bethany

Hi Bethany,

I can't get that raw stuff in the stores near me. Don't know if they do sell
it in stores either. I used to buy the regular agave nectar there, but
then realized it wasn't raw and also was cheaper buying it in bulk. The kind I get says not heated above 115 right on the bottle.
