I feel terrible, i drank fome laxative tea but i need to know has anyone had this problem with mucus?
When i take a deep breath through my mouth i hear a deep sound coming from my thoat, it's not sore or anything but i can breath though my nose but not too well if i do it with my mouth open.
Sounds funny but i'm also talking funny like i hoarse.
Can someone tell me what can i take to help move this mucus out of my throat?
Thanks

:) That's what i'm doing now, i drank some tea for the immune system and drinking the water off of onions and lemons.
I feel a lot better.
I didn't think that mucus could make you dizzy, unsteady on your feet and listless but it did all of that.
You are so sweet to help me out at this last hour ))HUGS)) to you. :D :D

Sounds like it could be drainage. I'd try water with lemon in it.

The first time I tried to detox a few years ago, I drank a cup of Laci Le Beau tea (I know now it's not vegen). OH...MY....GOD....I was SO sick for about 7 hours. I swear if there was an orrifice available something was happening.
And yes, mucus was a big part of that.
Since then, I have almost eliminated all dairy and my mucus problems completely vanished.

my voice sounded so hoarse, it was a strain to talk but no sore throat, happy about that.
I continued to drink onion, lemon and honey juice and really that did help.
I haven't drank milk or had any dairy products in over 18 years but prior to that i loved milk and ice cream.
Thanks for the help, everyone.
I going to lay around and rest today, i feel weak but i did have a little energy earlier but it didn't last long.

When I have a buildup of mucous (allergies) it tends to settle into my lungs so I like to make slippery elm bark powder into a tea - it clears out my lungs of the accumulated mucous. It is also a powerful but extremely gentle laxative. Generally I can get allergic symptoms of runny nose etc when my bowels are backed up. The runny nose - mucous is the symptom - no pain in abdomen - when the slippery elm gets my bowels to move the allergy type symptoms clear up. Slippery elm is mucousy in itself so alot of people don't like it. Add cinnamon and honey if you wish and just get er done! er down! I have relied on this for many years to maintain some semblance of health.

Dr. Graham has stated that onions and lemons are mucus forming, not mucus dissolving.

I don't remember specifically getting mucus from eating those, but if my diet was that pure (which it's not) and I did eat them, I am sure I would be able to tell the difference.
Raw Nora might have some good input on this.

For the last week i've been dealing with this detox and the mucus is so thick that it is just staying in those areas. I've had a dry cough for the last 4 days and just now it seems to be trying to break up slowly.
Also my throat is raw, it's like knives sticking up from the bottom of my throat, i've gargled with salt water, basil tea, cayanne pepper nothing seems to help it go away and stay.
Any ideas?

Have you tried fasting on WATER ONLY?

Lemon and Ginger in warm or hot water has helped me in the past. It is good to have in the morning.

:D I've got both and will make some.
After a week of feeling worst each day the mucus is slowly breaking up.
For the sore throat i read that raw honey helps so i ate some, slowly letting it melt before swallowing it and it worked, this morning i woke up with my throat sore but it disappeared on it's own.
These detoxes are getting stranger all the time but when i think back to how i use to eat then i can understand "better out than staying in".
Thanks for the help :D

:) This afternoon i should have took a pillow with me and a book to read, i was in the bathroom off and on for over a total of 1 1/2 hours back and forth.
I'm so glad that the mucus is coming out and my bowel are really moving.
During this time i became real jittery and around my mouth started twitching again and i had heartburn slighly. I'm thinking all this was from the release of all the mucus, also i felt like i was going to pass out.
My detoxes seem to be stronger and longer in length and it's kind of got me concerned, not nowing what will happen to me next.
I had the problem with tingling in my legs and arm before but it had gotten much better using gingko and valium to calm the nerves.
I'v heard that toxens are stored in mucus and when this mucus leaves the body it takes the toxins with it, maybe so many toxins were leaving so quickly that it cause all of these symptoms.
I do feel lots better but really weak. I'll be so glad when i get all cleaned out from the inside :) .

Bethanie, you can put 1 tsp of tea tree oil in some warm water, and gargle with that, it will really help, tastes nasty though, but it does help to kill all the critters in your throat, do not swallow, UGH!!!
hope you feel better soon, also you can breath in Eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, eat hot mustard, all of these help to make your sinuses run, etc.
lemon and onions, will cause mucus, that is clear, this helps to break up the thick mucus, so it is good to use, kind of like using lard to clean olive oil out of white table cloth, it works really well to cut the other greese, and lard washes out really well, but the olive oil stains, so........ I say, do what works.
Hope you feel much much better soonly.

that i'm experiencing this time around? Since mucus carries toxins out of the body would my jittery feeling and tingling be from that?
I'm just trying to get some help with the why's of what's going on.
My poor husband couldn't eat for being so nervous about how i was feeling.
