I've only been 100% for three days (about 75% for a week) but things are happening already!
The alarm went off at 5:30 am for my husband to get up. I have been so tired and unenergetic for the last few months I usually just lie there, not getting up but dozing while he showers, dresses, etc. As soon as he leaves I go back to sleep for two or three hours and drag myself up, still exhausted.
Not today! The alarm went off and I laid there for a few minutes and I realized I wasn't tired. I got up and made him breakfast and a lunch. He asked what I was feeling so "frisky" about ( I was even jumping around, messing with our dog). I said "I feel good this morning."
After he left I put in Alissa's DVD I received yesterday and watched it all.
Then took my dog out for a walk and while I was walking along I noticed I could smell the fall...you know, leaves, fireplaces, crisp autumn air. I thought, can I already smell things better?
After that I went to the grocery store. As I was walking down the spice aisle I found that I was smelling the spices, esp. the garlic salt.! A really strong smell. That's when I knew it wasn't in my head.
Well, I made the mistake of not eating breakfast and I was starving so I went on over to the deli section. The fried chicken almost got me but I resisted and went on over to the salad section, the only thing they had that I was half way sure I could eat was an Apple Wardolf Salad.
I have to tell you that I sat out in my car and ate that salad and it was SO good...apples, walnuts, coconut, grapes...now I am sure it was not organic and I don't know what the dressing was but I was so proud of myself for passing up the chicken, and the potato salad and macaroni salad and to actually eat something I would of never ate before. And to eat it s-l-ow-l-y instead of shoving it in my mouth, mindlessly.
Sorry this is so long but just can't believe the results I am getting already.
