Im new to this post in search for new foods for my daughter. She was born at birth with severe allergies. I breastfed till she was 14 months old and then she had raw goat milk. She has been eating raw fruit and lots of raw juice. Now that she is 2 years old she wants more things now. She eats brown rice but its sick of eating it. I need more recipes and ideas to expand her palate of food. She is highly allergic to several items so it makes it very
hard to make meals if those items are the main indrigent. Also , she
only has 4 front teeth so she cant chew well yet. Here is the list of
items she is allergic too:

1. garlic
2. corn
3. peas
4. all nuts ( almonds, peanuts, pine nuts, cashews etc)
5. egg
6. soybeans and soy
7. milk ( can only eat raw goat milk)
8 fish
9. wheat, oats and millet

I'm at a loss. She is eats tons of fruit and veggies. I juice for 3
times a day green juices which she loves. We do beets, carrots, celery,
spinach, kale and etc. and mix it up each time.

I'm ready to step up her diet but am lost due to these allergies/ few teeth.

Can anyone make any suggestions to help my daughter. I'm use to being in the kitchen alot that is where I have been for 2 years making sure my daughter is getting the nutrition she needs due to her extreme allergies to food. I'm just want some new things.

Thanks for your time and your experience in all this.

How do you know that she has allergies? Are you sure about all of them? We have many severe allergies in our house, so I get it...it's just rare that she would have a cow allergy and not react to goat milk. I'm also suprised about the nut thing. Almonds aren't technically a nut. Peanuts aren't a nut. The way you grouped them together just makes me wonder. Not that I'm advocating challenging her, I'm just curious.

You will do okay on raw, but it msy be tough to get all of the fat that she needs. Know as well that kiddos need a source of cholesterol in their diet until three or four. Breastmilk covers that, but if you aren't nursing you need to think about it. If you continue with goat milk that will do it too.

You can try seed crackers with seed spreads (tahini, sunflower butter etc.) Give her lots of avacado and olives. Make milkshakes with coconut water and meat. See if she'll eat the actual veggies, not just the juice. My kids love to dip veggies in anything! You can make granola with dired fruit and soaked buckwheat.

I hope that this was helpful. Please feel free to ask any questions. I fully understand how hard it is. Our list is MUCH longer.

Funny, the only thing from that list that my 17 month old eats is almonds (almond butter with banana is one o his faves).

Jake eats: Avo, lots o green smoothies (I can throw any manner of green veggie in there as long as I add in banana and spirulina) young coconut, mango, apple, pear, cucumber, zucchini, mushrooms, etc etc. Wow, too much to name before I have to dash off. Just want to briefly add: There is no need to give your child milk. Calcium and protein can be obtained from greens, tahini, sprouted beans, etc.

Check out the book Baby Greena. It has helpful suggestions.

God Luck!
