Congratulations on all of your accomplishments! The whole one legged squat thing is awesome! I see that you mono-eat for several months. Do you only eat sweet fruit? Do you ever eat green leafy veggies? Also, are your wife and daughter raw too? Thanks!

No I don't eat a lot of sweet fruit and I don't eat greens, nuts or seeds........niether do I eat at random....I've noticed that certain types of fruits are for certain needs at certain times and I don't set any rules on what I eat I simply eat what I need at any given moment....having said that I only have 1-2 staples per season and I don't eat a wide variety of fruits in a season....I would say that my needs are met over a longer period of time....

hope that helped.

Thanks for the response. So you don't eat greens? So you might just eat oranges for awhile? How long have you been raw? Thanks again!

I've been doing this for 12 years now.....I've been trhough the whole quitting and coming back thing and now living this way is as normal as catching a cold is for a cooked food eater.... :D

Hope that helped..

"What is the Fruitarian Raw Food Diet?
A typical Fruitarian eats and drinks:

Sweet Fruits: Oranges, bananas, apples, melons, grapes, papayas, berries, figs, dates, mangoes, etc.
Non Sweet Fruits: cucumbers, avocados, bell peppers, tomatoes, etc.
Vegetables: lettuces and other greens, celery, etc.
Nuts and Seeds: Sunflower and squash seeds, almonds, walnuts, soft coconut meat, etc.
Also: coconut water, juices, water, and other raw and living foods. "

I just copied this from the FruitarianOnes website. So now I know some of what you eat. I was also very curious. I hope that I have not offended you.

So what is the big difference between a Fruitarian Raw Food diet and a "normal" Raw Food diet? Because a lot of those foods are what most typical Raw-Foodists on this board probably eat. So are we really all Fruitarians then? Where are these defitions of who eats what coming from? Just curious..

There's no difference at all if you a strict raw foodist!!!!

Fruitarianism is stricter.....

Personally ...yes I think we are all foraging Fruitarians/frugivores by nature....

As far as I can remember Raw Foodist was the name before Raw Vegan came a long and back then pretty much everyone understood that Fruitarianism was certainly not for the beginner!.....but of course many tried, gave up and bashed.....

The separation came because back in the day when you went raw the idea was to go 100% but some people felt that going 100% raw was too restricting and many didn't want to give up their cooked treats....also a lot of people tried Fruitarianism and gave up and started bashing it...so a lot of people wanted to distance themselves from the whole 100%....and Raw Vegan was born....

People that refered to themselves as Raw Vegans back then were often the ones that were half raw and half vegan....and pretty much bashed anyone that was 100%.....now it's a little different....

That was my understanding of the whole situation back then anyway!

Hope that helped....
