I know, it's an old story...Having lots of carrot pulp and looking for ways to use it! We usually give it to our dogs- they eat mainly raw! :) - but we just had a beautiful carrot soup for supper and the dogs have already eaten.

I was thinking of making Alissa's BBQ chicken fingers and carrot cake using the pulp instead of whole carrots. Anybody tried it before? My only concern is that it might be drier than the original version... I could perhaps replace only SOME of the carrots. What do you think?

Thanks,
Carmella

I say give it a whirl, yes, add some more liquid and when will it be ready? I'll be over for a snack! ;)

Hey Veganforlife,

Thanks for your encouragement towards my culinary endeavors! Looks like tomorrow will be "uncooking" day (we like to call it "Making-Making")! Lined up for the dehydrator (so far!) are BBQ chicken fingers and Alissa's falafels. That will be my part. Don will be doing the carrot cake. Boy, we eat so good (and so much! :o )

You're of course welcome ANYTIME! I'm afraid you might have some difficulty finding us though as we're wayyyyyyyy in the Canadian bundocks! ;)

Thanks for the comment on our avatar. Wow! I'm amazed at how people on this forum are commenting on it... I'm glad that our relaxed lifestyle manages to reach you across the Net! :)
