My pepper mill took a permanent vacation.
Thank goodness...
I've come across the most amazing thing to sprinkle on top of sliced tomatoes...Chinese Five Spice Powder and Celtic Sea Salt.

Tastes like candy.

The spice I used is:
Fennel, Anise, Ginger, Licorice Root, Cinnamon, and Cloves.

Yummy.

Are all the spices you listed IN the Chinese 5 spice, or are these extras? I love tomatoes sprinkled with alittle olive oil and basil! I love them when they've been in the dehydrator for alittle while....yum.

Yeah, those spices are what make up the Chinese 5 spice.

Thanks for the post on Chinese Five Spice. I saw some yesterday at the store and I was wondering if I could use it. Now I know!
