Hi all,
I'm just wondering how you go about storing your raw cookies after you've made them? That's of course assuming you don't finish them all up in a few hours. ;) I do that sometimes, but other times I want to have enough "treats" to last me the week or bring with my raw lunches. I've been putting them in a plastic container in my refridgerator but they seem to get mushy or watery for some reason...

I'm not sure whether they will still be good after a week or two if I leave them out of the fridge. Any and all suggestions are very welcome!

I've stored mine in a plastic bag OUT of the fridge and I've had them last about a week. I've also put them in a tin too...

Although I've stored cookies in the fridge before I have been putting them in the freezer. I thaw out a few at a time (or eat frozen depending on what they are) and then I don't end up wasting any. I've had some go bad so this way that won't happen! Like you said though, unless they are eaten up too fast to make it to the freezer!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and experiences. I guess freezing is the way to go then. So for unthawing you put them in your dehydrator right? (Just double checking...)

I would think if you froze them...and then thawed them out, if they were mushy, just pop them in the dehydrator for an hour or so. That's what I do when my refrigerated crackers go soft!

I DO NOT LIKE SOFT COOKIES! So I actually keep mine in the dehydrator and turn it on every now and then to crisp them up.

I dehydrate in small batches and put the doubled or tripled recipe batter back in the fridge or freezer in dehydrator sheet portions!
