Hi all,

Does anyone know where I could find out what the nutritional composition of sunflower sprouts and pea shoots are?

Also, if anyone has the Freshlife sprouter could you let me how noisy it is and can you put it in the dishwasher??

Thanks in advance,

Lisa

Hey Lisa - my first thought was to check out:
www.sproutpeople.com
They have oodles of pages of information on seeds/sprouts. I'll also do a search.
I don't have an answer for the Freshlife sprouter...sorry... :(

I'd assume (if you're sprouting them yourself) that whatever calories the unsprouted sunflower seeds have, thats' the same as the sprouts.
For example, if I sprouted 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, it would be about 200 calories, and though the after-sprouting quantity would be bigger, it would stay calorically the same.
