I have heard some mention that raw chocolate isn't used by all raw foodists because it is questionable? Does that mean it isn't completely raw? Or is there another reason some won't eat it.
I was just getting ready to purchase some stuff from Alissa's site and was wondering if I should stick with the Carob instead? Please reply back tonight as I am purchasing it soon! Thanks! :)

I've read somewhere that some consider it to be almost caffeine-like. It acts as a stimulant in your body. It was something like that. I can't remember where I was reading that though, its been a while. Personally, I don't really like the stuff...I prefer the raw carob. thats just me though....

Thank you for replying so fast! That was just the info I was looking for. I just gave up caffeine in the form of coffee this year...it was an extreme addiction for me...I would probably be best in staying away from raw chocolate then. Thanks! ;)

It definetely puts me on high - if I chew just several beans at night I can not sleep. I never liked coffee, but once when I tried to drink it to stay up - it did not work for me. So it must be strong stimulant.

I use it but consider it a treat and use it sparingly.
