Hemp Ice Cream
Follow the recipe for Hemp Milk (see below) but skip the second step of adding more water and consider adding more fruit instead - banana, berries or peaches are ideal.
Place the thick hemp milk in a container or ideally in ice cube trays and then freeze for 5 + hours.
Run the frozen hemp milk through a champion juicer with the blank attachment or an ice cream maker and serve.
Hemp Milk
Ingredients:
1/4 cup shelled hempseeds
1 cup water
flavorings (vanilla, maple syrup or honey)
Directions:
Place seeds into a blender and add small amount of water 1 inch above the seeds. Turn blender on at multiple speeds and agitate seeds so they become a thick hemp cream.
Then add either vanilla, maple syrup or honey or only a ripe banana and serve as a thick drink or add water at a ratio of 4.75 water to 1 part seed for a lighter hemp milk.

maybe these are dumb questions.....but hemp seeds aren't illegal? and they don't get you high? would eating them make you test positive for THC on a drug test? do they taste good, or do they just taste like weed? hmmm....*stroking proverbial beard*

the seeds taste 'nutty' and we use a spoon here and there. I'm going to try the hemp milk and then do the ice cream.
Yes, they would show a trace on drug test just as poppy seeds do! you can do search on that. google.com type hemp seeds. I guess if you overdo even good things you get negative results. I have not read anywhere that people using small amounts got 'hight' Joz

They can be sold legally but they do show up on drug tests. My husband is in the military and can't consume any hemp oil because of this. I am not sure about the seeds/nuts.
