Food/Skin Grade Oils Question

Does anyone know the difference between organic oils that say for external use compared to other organic oils? Frontier/Aura Cacia says they just don't test it for food grade use so they mark it external. But is there a real difference between the 2 and can it be harmful to use the external use one internally?

I have no Idea....I guess its like you said. They don't get it tested for internal, but maybe for external it does not need to be tested.

If it says external then you can be sure that there is a reason so I would not take it internally.
I would think that they could get more money for it if it was also suitable for internal use so the reason has to be solid.
