I am on a 30 day juice fast day 8 of 30. I have been drinking two 16oz servings of juice daily. But I need something warm. I was wondering if organic veggie broth by pacific was ok to have. But I DO NOT want to slow down my fast AT ALL. I understand it is fiber that "wakes" up your digestive system and I am scared it will. Am I better off just juicing?

I'm pretty sure the broth has been cooked.
Suggestions:
You could start off the morning with water that is warmed but not boiled. Do some bouncing. Add invigorating juices like ginger, dandelion or red clover tea........mustard seed powder detox bath is great to faciliate the blood flow.
I never refrigerate my fruits of veggies, so I always have room temperature juice dilluted with room temp water. You could try not frigging the fruits.
Best on you cont'd fasting ;)

on fast i like warm water with lemon juice squeezed in , and if want to sweeten add agave . then from there might as well add the cayenne pepper for the miracle cleanse suggested by many for fasting .
im sure misslinda could tell ya all about it being shes a ninja faster :D

Thanks for the suggestions.
You say it's cooked thats fine with me I am not raw as I am a mma fighter and I need my size.
As long as it does not slow down my fast is all I really care about.

I suppose you can look at it a couple of different ways here.
#1 Broth is liquid so you are not digesting food which is what we are seeking
#2 Being that it is cooked and we know that cooked works our sytsems harder--in other words, weakens it.
I'd image there is about 190 mg of sodium?
Personally, I think it would slow your fasting.....
but in terms of identifying as a liquid and not a solid, yes
There are so many approaches to fasting these days......I tend to stick to more traditional and in terms of RAW but do what you feel works for you. I wish you well on your fasting! :)

I tried broth on Thursday night -- it absolutely slowed the fast. I would recommend that you avoid it.
For heat, a dash of cayenne in a vegetable juice will do wonders.
I'm on day 15 of my 30 day fast and so far all is good and 20 pounds are off!

this board advocates and supports the raw vegan lifestyle, we don't suggest you eat anything cooked, especially during a fast of any kind.
juice your fruits, juice your veggies, no sodium, you won't get the nutrients you are wanting if you cook your foods, especially broth.
Just a thought.
just juice the veggies and add some celery or dried celery leaves if you want it with more taste/salt.
it's so much better than any cooked anything anyway.
