Would freeze dried corn and peas be considered raw? Why?

I believe I got an answer to my question. Diane, from the Honeyville Company (http://store.honeyvillegrain.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=286 ), just called me back after confirming the freeze drying process for the corn and peas that they sell. It includes washing, freezing, and then freeze drying. She said there is absolutely no heat applied to the products. So I’m thinking these would be appropriate for a raw food diet. However, you’d have to be very careful with this. I had an email into another company, Mountain House, who also sells freeze dried peas. Just looking at the product and descriptions on the internet they looked very similar to what Honeyville was selling. However their representative Michelle told me via email just a few minutes ago that their products are cooked then freeze dried. So you’d almost have to call the manufacturer as I did to ensure that you had both an uncooked and unblanched product.
