Goji (Lycium) Juice is said to have healing powers, so I decided to try my own version by soaking a handful of berries in 2 cups of water (Use water in smoothie) Then I blended it up with some Bananas. Pretty good stuff and I felt an improvement. Apparently the tree is easy to grow in almost any environment and you can eat the berries right off the tree.

Did you put the berries AND the water in the smoothie, or just the soak water? Just wondering. I've never used anything like this before, and I'm cautious....I just think I should be able to get all my nutrition from eating regular foods. I guess I thought of these berries as being a gimick someone was trying to market????? I'd like to know what you think. Did you REALLY feel improvement??? or was it because you EXPECTED to feel improvement??

http://www.timpanogosnursery.com/ Apparently they don't start more orders until December. Seasonal. Within the Berry is the seed,so.. maybe you can experiment. There are harvesting tips on the site.
As for the Smoothie: Soaked berries for 1 hour. Added them (water and all) with 1 banana, blended and drank. Today I just soaked them a bit and chewed with the water. I will do this for a week and let you know if I truly notice anything. I would say there has to be some nutritional value. It is a fruit and somewhat like a raisin when dried. Good Source of Vitamins A & C and iron. I would sure like to try the fresh fruit :)
