Newbie in Canada would like a raw buddy!

Hello everyone,

I live in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and have been lurking around this site for quite some time. I finally got to page one after starting from the end in the Raw discussions pages and am quite awed and grateful at all the information and help available on this site.

I am wondering if there is anyone in Calgary who is doing the "raw thing" and would be willing to be a buddy for me...I am a compulsive overeater/food addict and I want to use the raw food lifestyle to free myself from this addiction. I have tried a few times on my own, but have been unsuccessful so far...and everything I have read about addictions says...trying it alone fails (I can attest to this). :(

So if there is anyone out there who is interested in helping a newbie get on track...please let me know.

Hey, I would deffinitly be a Raw buddie as well - although I'm in Edmonton - gasp.... just moved here 6months ago after being a Calgarian the other 26 years of my life. My husband is also raw. We have been raw for 5 months, and would love to meet other raw people, as we've yet to meet anyone raw in person. My family's all still in Calgary and we go there quite often... Maybe we could all meet for a potluck and/or to swap raw stories.
