trying a couple different varieties on methods.........

one with spelt berries.....
the other with buckwheat groats....

i have some soaking for sprouting (not sure exactly how to do this........ WILL TRY -- AND JUST SEE!!! :rolleyes:

THE OTHER METHOD -- i ground up and added some additional health ingredients........

will keep you posted on how they come out!!

so far, look interesting!!! and by the way --FOR THE HOLE -- I USED THE TOP OF A WATER BOTTLE (TOP) AND PUNCHED IT THROUGH.......LOOK RIGHT!

THE BUCKWHEAT LOOKS VERY GRAINY.......

THE SPELT LOOKS MORE REFINED.........

I DID A VEGGIE ONE, AND A BASIC VERY SUBTLE HERB BAGEL

SHOULD BE DONE SHORTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:

ok not sure, if this is what a raw food bagel SHOULD TASTE LIKE.......
but so far.............the buckwheat one reminds me of passover!!! lol
when we couldn't eat anything with flower in it!!!
and the taste of all these subsitutes -- TASTED BLEH, NO TASTE.......
AND IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING HERE -- YOU WILL KNOW........!!
IT'S LIKE A GRAINY, NO FLOUR TEXTURE, FLAVOR -- feels like it's missing something

still waiting on the spelt ones........ maybe taste better

BUT SO FAR, A GOOD SUBSITUTE FOR BAGELS......... NOT FOUND IN MY OPINION.

did come up with a great veggie cream cheese variation!!
