Raw "creamed" honey Yummmm!!!

I just found this Raw "creamed" honey at trader Joes. It is fabulous...It is creamy like butter...and it is just Raw honey that they crystallize and whip....

I wish I had some Raw sweet type bread...mine is all onion bread... :eek:

The link in my first post talks about how they do it.

It is a controlled crystallization..they have the honey at 57 degrees F (which is the ideal temp. for honey crystallization) then introduce a starter of crystallised honey..then they stir it occasionally over the course of several days and it crystallizes into a finely grained creamy honey.... another way is to whip it for several hours with a paddle. :eek:

It does not sound like something that can be done successfully at home.

I am sure other places must carry it... :)

:eek: drat, nope none near me... oh well that's what i get for living in the sticks.. no raw food restarants either lol woe is me :( but all that means i need to start a traveling lol. the 57 degree stuff sounds almost doable but not really the paddle thing... although maybe with a mixer? who knows but it might be fun to try

Replace the onion and braggs in the onion bread with fruit and spices to make another bread. I posted an apple spice bread awhile ago that you can sub and use the honey with!

That honey is to die for! I love it- I rub the honey all over a fresh banana then dip it in almond butter- OMG Heaven! My favorite dessert by far!

If any of you ever pass by a Trader Joes, be sure to get the creamed honey- and their organic raw almond butter is the best I have tried so far!

I got some honey like that at whole foods. OMG!!! I didn't know honey could taste that good!!!!
