New to the site! Hello from Milwaukee! <wave>

:) Hey everyone! I'm new to this site and am excited to see what good bits of info I can find.

I'm 24 and live in Milwaukee. I am trying to transition to a mostly raw diet. I find that the hardest part is balancing that with the social aspects of eating (going out to dinner with friends is a huge part of my social life and it can be tough if I'm not down for a salad that night).

I too am trying to transition.....I keep setting dates of when I will start and I just need to start!

I am in Kenosha, WI not far from you....nice to know someone else in my neck of the woods is also transitioning!

haha I was just in Kenosha like 2 weeks ago (actually it was Stardevant (I can't spell))! I'm so glad to see someone else from WI interested in RAW. People I know around here think I'm nuts! (no pun intended);)

I'm much more of a "quit cold turkey" person so this transitioning slowly thing is tough for me cause I don't feel like it's making any difference. I keep having to remember to look at the big picture. I don't feel like I can commit to quitting cold turkey because I am afraid I'll fail if I'm that stringent right away.
